Rotex Auto/Batch Silver Recovery Systems.


  • Combines Batch Electrolytic Desilvering with built-in steel wool "Tailings" canister for maximum silver removal.
  • Side Tank may be filled from catch bottles or connected directly to a number of film processors and/or transfer stations.
  • Optional 20 and 27 gallon side tanks will receive all the fixer from a processor fixing tank when drained for service.
  • Can be used inter-connected to provide a large central system (see illustration below)

    • How It Works...
    When enough fixer is in the side tank a pump automatically fills the recovery tank with a batch. A digital timer controls the batch cycle. When the timer reaches zero time left the desilvered fixer is drained into the "tailings" canister where it is contained until a following batch pushes it out. After 77 batches have been processed a lamp is lit on the control panel indicating that the plated silver should be removed from the cathode.
