Beautifully designed and skillfully crafted to fit perfectly into the maternity ward of your hospital, the Kerri Bear Bassinet™ is manufactured from the highest quality materials to provide a safe and comfortable surrounding for the infant.

To prevent the spread of dangerous micro-organisms and to suppress the growth of mold and bacteria, the Kerri Bear Bassinet™ is manufactured with Imperial's specialized protective powder coating which has been thoroughly laboratory tested to significantly decrease microbial population.

The Kerri Bear Bassinet™ is available in an array of delicate colors including:

  • Silverpine
  • Featherstone
  • Shadow Blue
  • Mauve Blush

    • These standard colors use lead-free, anti-bacterial paint which reduces the risk of cross contamination. Most standard color bassinets are in-stock for immediate delivery. To complement the existing design of your maternity ward, a selection of custom colors are also available.

    Base Cabinet...
  • Easy-pull handles reveal a base cabinet with a large amount of storage space - perfect for quick access to supplies and materials.
  • Magnetic catches secure doors closed.
  • No wood or laminate materials are used that can often trap debris and not withstand some of today's more aggressive disinfecting chemicals.
  • An optional shelf is available.

    • Basket Features...
  • Bassinet frame and carrier are fully welded and painted with a baked protective anti-bacterial polyester powder coating.
  • With a simple pull of a safety switch the basket carrier slides back easily to expose the convenient Changing Table. The safety switch also serves as a locking mechanism to prevent movement during transport.
  • The Carrier frame is designed to accommodate three basket positions: Neutral, Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg.



    • Casters...
  • Heavy duty 3" (76mm), non-marking, grey rubber casters, allows for excellent maneuverability of the bassinet (Casters: 2-Swivel, 2-Total Lock).

    • Mattress / Basket...
  • The Kerri Bear BassinetTM is available with two mattresses - one for the basket and one for the dressing section.
  • Mattresses contain medium density foam, made with anti-bacterial material that is fire retardant and provides support and comfort to the infant.
  • The Changing Table has a three-sided guard rail so that the mattress is secured to prevent sliding while attending to the infant.
  • Basket and mattresses are sold separately.
