The O.R. Special Protective Apron is made to be worn between a scrubsuit and a sterile gown. Uniquely it can be removed
without contaminating the sterile field.
Reaching through the back of the gown, the hook & loop fasteners are released, and the protective apron will fall to
the floor and the sterility remains unaffected.
Lead equivalent protective values are approximate at 80 kvp. Wolf protective aprons are available in 13 colors and 5
patterns. Wolf protective aprons are available in three types of radiation shielding materials: Regular Lead,
the industry standard for Pb protective wear. Light Weight Lead, which has the same protective qualities as
Regular Lead, but is 15% lighter. And Wolf's new "FEATHERLITE" lead free material has the same protective
qualities as Regular Lead, but is 25% lighter and contains NO lead. Additionally, Wolf's lead free material
absorbs photons better than regular lead.
